About Us

Ward Legal Group PC serves estate planning and elder law needs of clients throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. It is the only work we do. We are members of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and of WealthCounsel, a national estate planning organization for attorneys.

The firm was founded by David A. Ward in 1979 and was originally known as The Law Offices of David A. Ward.  In 1987 David was joined in practice by Attorney Richard L. Webb, Jr., and in 1988 the firm became known as Ward & Webb, PC.  Richard retired from the practice of law in 2011 and David retired in 2021.  The firm continues to be known as Ward Legal Group PC.

Our firm is devoted to serving families in planning for life’s transitions.  Our work emphasizes the human side of planning for people and causes and regularly involves preparing Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney and a variety of elder law matters. We take great pride in our people-centered law firm and in developing lasting relationships with our clients and their families.  We welcome new clients and are available for evening, Saturday, and house call appointments.
